Features of micro-arc oxidation power supply:
Main purpose: It can be used in the micro oxidation treatment in ceramic modification for the surface of aluminum, titanium, magnesium and alloy materials, which overcomes the defects of aluminum, titanium, magnesium and alloy in application fundamentally.
Main principle: The micro-arc oxidation technology is to put the metal product of which oxide has the ceramic structure into slightly alkaline electrolyte exclusive of heavy-metal ion, with specific electric field to make the metal atom in the surface of product bond with oxyanion in electrolyte and form a ceramics layer in the surface which can bond with the product in the way of micro-metallurgy. According to the difference of technological conditions and application scope of work piece to be settled, this ceramic layer can improve the anticorrosion, antifriction, galling resistance and insulation of metal. The key point of micro-arc technology is the power supply. The main function of the power supply is to provide and control the electric field with sufficient density energy and optimum distribution as well as automatically detect and control procedure parameter in the production process of micro-arc oxidation treatment.
